Langley & Iver

Formed in 1975, Langley and Iver is one of the oldest clubs in the district. During its history we estimate the club has had over 500 members, raised over £50,000 for good causes and done thousands of man-hours of voluntary work.

This good work looks set to continue and last year they hosted a cinema night at Pinewood Studios, a “Charity Craft Fayre and Family Fun Day” and several quizzes, raising over £2000 for their nominated charities. Despite a busy calendar of their own they always find time to help neighbouring Rotary Clubs with events such as the Uxbridge Auto Show, Heathrow Family Day, Langley Carnival and our sponsoring club’s annual night hike Moonraker.

Their activities aren’t just restricted to the general Slough area however, with recent trips to Russia, Germany and Yorkshire as well as a trip to Ireland in the pipeline!
