About

District 1090 is one of the 29 districts that constitutes Rotaract in Great Britain & Ireland (RGBI).

Rotaract District 1090 falls over an area which can be loosely described as the Thames Valley. It covers the counties of Berkshire and Oxfordshire, and also takes in South Buckinghamshire, and the North-Western Part of Middlesex.

The River Thames bisects our District, flowing from west to east, and passes through historic towns such as Oxford, Henley, Marlow and Windsor. Other major towns in our District include Reading, Slough, High Wycombe, Newbury, Banbury and Maidenhead.

The district has 7 Rotaract Clubs which are; Banbury, Bourne End & Cookham, High Wycombe, Langley & Iver, Maidenhead, Oxford and West Berkshire.

There are also 63 Rotary Clubs in district 1090 and over 2000 individual Rotarians, all working to improve the lives of people in the Thames Valley, the UK and overseas.
